This week is less exciting than last week with the National Championship & Frozen Four – plus the drudgery of taxes for procrastinators like me. Still this week has the JBF Sale, Preschool ArtStart, concerts/theater, and more.
Arbor Annie’s Highlights of Children’s Events Near You This Week
Tax day is on Wednesday. If you’re like me that means a mad rush to get the taxes done and filed.
The Just Between Friends sale kicks off on Wednesday with their PreSale and starts in full on Thursday.
Spring into Savings with Ann Arbor Mom2Mom Sales 2026
Cooler weather is just around the corner, which means it will be time to swap the shorts, t-shirts and swim suits for coats, sweats and jeans. For young kids, that means that they will need almost a whole new wardrobe since last winter’s clothes are unlikely to still fit.
This week is Preschool Art Start Week with sessions at Traverwood on Monday, Pittsfield on Wednesday, and Malletts on Thursday. Get the kids outside at Foxfire North for Toddler Move and Groove on Wednesday with Ann Arbor Parks.
Tuesday night Literati Presents: Philip Stead with his new middle grade book.
Wednesday night head to Saline District Library for Science Club (also offered in a junior version).
Tuesday plan on attending the Life Sciences Orchestra & UMS Choral Union Concert. Weekend theater gets on early start on Thursday with Dexter Community Players production of Inherit the Wind. Then, on Friday Tappan Players starts their run of Shrek Jr. and Ann Arbor Christian School starts Matilda Jr.
