This summer don’t miss Emagine Summer Kids Movie Series for summer 2025. A movie theater is a great place to spend a hot summer day or escape a rainy summer day. And a cheap movie makes it an even better choice.

2025 Emagine Summer Kids Movie Series Details

Dates and Showtimes

The Kids Summer Movie Series schedule starts on Friday, June 20 and runs through Thursday, August 21. All of the movies fall during the Ann Arbor Public Schools summer break! But, you have to wait a bit over a week for them to start.

Unlike last year, when many movies ran for multiple weeks, this year’s movies run for a single week. I like the single week runs better since it guarantees a new movie every week.

Currently (May 3), all showtimes are listed as 11a. However, with the winter kids series we noticed that as the week’s showtimes were announced the times were adjusted. Typically they started between 10a and 11:30a.

Tickets

Tickets for the Summer Kids series are $3/person.

Some of the shows may play in small theaters, so we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. However, we don’t recommend purchasing them too far in advance if your schedule is not flexible in case showtimes change when the week’s movie schedule is announced.

Concessions

It it even a trip to a movie theater without popcorn? Not according to my husband.

The concession stand is selling a Magic Pack during the Kids Movie Series. The Magic Pack includes both popcorn and a drink and are sized for kids. They sell for $5.

Even better, go on a Tuesday when Emagine Rewards members get free popcorn!
