Dexter Farmers Market
The Dexter Farmers Market returns for their 18th season in 2024. Stop by for fresh fruits & vegetables, then enjoy the surrounding area.
For 2024, the Tuesday market moves to Monument Park! The Saturday market remains at the Farmers Market stalls.
The new hours and season introduced in 2023 for the Tuesday market continue in 2024. The market is now 11a-3p and the season is shortened to June-September. The Saturday market remains at the Farmers Market and from May through October.
The Dexter Farmers Market is right next to the Dexter District Library and up the stairs from Mill Creek North Playground. Or, wander down the block to the Downtown Area for a snack at the Dexter Bakery or Dexter Creamery. Monument Park is still convenient to the library, Downtown Area, and Mill Creek North Playground.

Westside Farmers Market
Typically opens in early July. The did not open until August 3 in 2023. Their website does say June-September, but it has said that for several years and typically opens closer to July. We will keep watching for 2024 updates.
Farmers Market excursions are tons of fun for kids. The Westside Farmers Market is open on Thursdays from 3-7p during the summer and fall. It is held in the parking lot at Zingerman’s Roadhouse
While you are at the Farmers Market, consider getting dinner at Zingerman’s Roadhouse, stopping at Westgate Branch of Ann Arbor District Library, or shop local with Westgate stores like The Little Seedling, Sylvan Factory, or Mast Shoes.

West Willow Farmers Market
As of May 16, no farmers markets have been announced for 2024. We are watching for any updates.
The West Willow Farmers Market was started in June 2022 to provide a Farmers Market presence on the eastern side of Ypsilanti for both buyers and sellers.
They also host community meals in the summer.
The market is held every other week.
They will be collecting school supply donations July 16-August 27

Ann Arbor Farmers Market
The Ann Arbor Farmers Market is the largest in the Ann Arbor area. It operates year round, with expanded hours May through October. Visit the Ann Arbor Farmers Market in the Kerrytown historic district (315 Detroit St). They have special events several times a year, so be sure to check the Ann Arbor with Kids Upcoming Events calendar for more details.
First Wednesday Food Truck Rallies are typically held the first Wednesday of the month in summer and fall.
In spring 2024, structural issues were detected in the Farmers Market office. The office staff will be operating out of a trailer for 2024 with plans to demolish the building in summer 2024. They will also begin a study with public engagement to design the new future of the Farmers Market building.
Consider combining a trip to the Farmers Market with a trip to the nearby Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, lunch at Zingerman’s, Miss Kim, Detroit Street Filling Station, Eat, or one of the other nearby eateries.

The Whitmore Lake Farmers Market is back for its third season. The market is held at Northfield Community Park
This year they are encouraging more farmers and food trucks while still leaving room for local artisans.
Music and activities will continue this year with new additions like Pollinator week and the Business Expo.

White Lotus Farms offers Farmers Markets and a chance to visit their animals while you shop.
They added a new pavilion to provide shelter from the sun and rain while shopping at the market in 2022. Shop the fresh grown produce, but also their bakery, creamery, and take home meals. They also feature products from other local farms and businesses.
While at the Farmers Market, make time to visit their animals including baby goats.
They offer a Saturday market year round and Wednesday markets in Spring through Fall

Growing Hope typically holds two Farmers Markets in Ypsilanti each week during the growing season.
The Saturday market in Depot Town is open the first Saturday in May through October.
As of 5/1/2024, the Tuesday market is still listed as being on hiatus for 2023. Last year, they offered pickups of online market orders at the Downtown Market location from 3-7p on Tuesdays. We will keep watching for updates for the 2024 season.

The Cobblestone Farms Farmers Market was held at Buhr Park’s Cobblestone Farms for several years. They announced the end of their market in February 2020.
Webster Farmers Market used to be held on Sundays. Their website is gone, phone calls in past years have been unreturned. So we assume they are no longer.
