About AFC Ann Arbor
Association Football Club Ann Arbor (AFC Ann Arbor) was founded in 2014 with a men’s team. A women’s team was added in 2018. Since the 2022 season, the men play in the United Soccer League 2, an elite pre-professional league, The Women’s AFC Ann Arbor team plays in the USL W League, a women’s pre-professional league. Numerous members of AFC Ann Arbor (both men and women) have gone on to play soccer professionally.

They play their home game at Pioneer High School’s Hollway Field. They have previously played at Concordia University and Saline High School.
Attending an AFC Ann Arbor Game
Whether you’re a die-hard soccer fan or just looking for a great community event, here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your experience at an AFC Ann Arbor Game. Ticket prices are accessible and they have family friendly activities and promotions throughout the season.
Tickets
One of the best things about AFC Ann Arbor games is that kids 13 and under get in for free with a Youth Match Pass! Sign your child up and they will receive free admission to all matches this season. They’ll also occasionally recognize young fans throughout the season especially if they have a birthday during the season.

Even adult tickets are affordable. Each match is only $12 if you buy online in advance or just $15 at the gate. You can also purchase a season ticket for just $102.43 (for 11 home games). Each season ticket includes 2 bring a friend tickets for 2 matches. This is a great way to share AFC Ann Arbor with your friends and family.
Food Options
You won’t go hungry at an AFC Ann Arbor game with the delicious food options available. There is typically a food truck or two at the match – Opening Night has Slow’s BarBQ and Sottini’s Sub Shop. The Men’s opener on May 23 features Sottini’s Sub Shop and BTB Burrito.
Washtenaw Dairy will be at all the matches. But, be sure to stop by early in the night. By halftime they only had two flavors of ice cream left.

We suggest arriving before the game to eat. While there were picnic tables setup, we could only see about 1/3 of the field – and AFC Ann Arbor was mostly on offence at the other end.
Kids Activities
AFC Ann Arbor games are incredibly family-friendly, with a dedicated kids play area available. Kids can enjoy activities like cornhole, bubbles, and other fun games, keeping them entertained throughout the event. Don’t forget to look for the Ann Arbor with Kids banner hung on the fence to find the play area easily.

For halftime, you could buy a small soccer ball to toss from the fence or the stands into a kiddie pool to win a prize. Then the kids had a chance to run on the field.

Plus take time to meet Nutmeg, the AFC Ann Arbor mascot.

Seating
Games are held at the Pioneer football stadium, which features open bleacher seating. For added comfort, consider bringing seat cushions or chair backs. This will ensure you can enjoy the game without any discomfort, especially during longer matches.

What Else to Bring
We brought our water bottles into the stadium. Don’t worry if you forget yours, there is a concession stand that sells snacks and water.
Especially for afternoon games we recommend sunscreen. We attended a 7p game, and the sun was mostly behind us. Sunglasses are also a good idea.
What to Wear
Show your team spirit by wearing light blue, the official team color of AFC Ann Arbor. If you don’t have any team gear, wearing anything in light blue will help you feel like part of the crowd and support the team. They also sell AFC Ann Arbor gear online or at the game.
