Recreation Park Description
Ypsilanti’s Recreation Park offers a semi-shaded playground. The structure is not very tall, but it features several slides. There is a twisty slide, straight slides, and a double slide perfect for younger kids.

Recreation Park has a pavilion available. The park also has a well-shaded picnic area.

There are both regular and baby swings available. However, they are not next to each other which may be less than ideal if you have children at multiple ages.
Beyond Recreation Park
Recreation park is also the home of Ypsilanti’s Rutherford Pool. We did not visit the pool while at Recreation Park, but we did make sure to grab a picture.
