Delhi Metropark Description
Delhi Metropark has one of the few partially fenced playgrounds in the Ann Arbor area. The playground is surrounded by a split rail fence – with openings at the path.
The play structure has a pirate theme. Kids will love pretending to set sail on adventures. The bow of the ship is at ground level for even the youngest kids to play. Or head up to the structure for a better view from the ship.
The structure features a set of side-by-side slides and a tube slide. It also has a set of monkey bars.
In addition to the structure, there is a see-saw, a bouncy dinosaur, and a set of parallel bars. There are ample benches inside the fence and picnic benches in the shade both inside and outside the fence.
Head to Delhi Metropark and set sail on the high seas.
Beyond Delhi Metropark
Delhi Metropark is part of the Huron-Clinton Metropark system. The park is along the Huron River. In addition to the playground and water trails, Skip’s Huron River Canoe Livery is located at the park. They offer tubing and canoe/kayak trips from Huron Meadows and Hudson Mills. Last summer we used our own tubes to tube to Delhi Metropark. We visited again in the fall for the playground profile after a stop at Dexter Cider Mill for cider and donuts. It was a great snack and stop between the end of school and sports practice.
