Turnberry Park Description

Ann Arbor’s Turnberry Park is a small neighborhood park in the Turnberry neighborhood just west of where US-23 crosses over Packard Rd. The playground features two structures, swings, and a single bouncer. There are also benches available.

For a small park, there are lots of slides on the structures. The front structure features a double slide and a single slide. The back structure has a single slide and a twisty slide.

My daughter liked the handle bars. At 5’2″, she is too tall for most playground monkey bars, but she was able to cross these without hitting the ground. However, it is a bit high for smaller children.

The play structures feature a number of interactive elements. There is tic-tac-toe and an abacus on one structure. The other features a music section. Unfortunately, the music elements were not functioning on our visit. Hopefully the are replaced soon.
