North Main Park Description
North Main Park is a small park with a great location. It runs between North Main Street and 4th Avenue. Street Parking is available on the northbound side of 4th Avenue.
The play structure at North Main Park is small and best for younger kids. The structure has a double racer slide and several ways to climb up.

There is a tire swing. It is best for early morning or spring/fall. Even though it was not hot today (mid-70s), my daughter said it was too hot to sit on.

We were all intrigued by the chess/checker board on the table at the park, however you need to bring your own pieces to play a game.

Beyond North Main Park
Our visit to North Main park was part of a trip to Kerrytown in summer 2019. We were earning AADL Summer Game partner badges in Kerrytown. We had packed lunch, but did stop at Zingerman’s for a few add-ons to our lunch. North Main Park is a 5 minute walk or less from the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, Kerrytown Shops, and Zingerman’s Deli. Google says it is a 6 minute walk from the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. Wheeler Park is also nearby – but will require walking up a hill after visiting. Check out our Playground Profile of Wheeler Park and plan an outing to include both parks.
