JLC’s Low Cost Community Book Sale

What: A well organized, categorized book sale with about

~40,000 books.
~5,000+ DVD’s.
Hundreds of audiobooks.
Video Games
Puzzles
Board Games

Wednesday is Premium Access Day

Last summer, they introduced a Premium Access Day which is Wednesday, August 7. Adult books are $4, children’s book are $2 during premium access day.

Why: JLC’s Low-Cost Community Book Sale (jlcbooksale.com) is a family-run project that gets ALL the books directly FROM THE COMMUNITY through our community service called Give My Books (givemybooks.com).

They have some of the most popular to extremely eclectic books that change EVERY sale. The books are valuable to voracious readers like you, to collectors and resellers, (Amazon, eBay, Bookstores, Dealers, Etc.) with EXTREMELY reasonable prices. This is a sale that is worth coming to!!

Teachers Night

Wednesday evening is teachers night! Teachers & Homeschoolers get early access to regular prices (and their 10% discount) at the sale from 4-8p. Must show proof of teaching at checkout.

Food Drive:

In times past, they collected money for Food Gatherers to help people who are food insecure in our local area. This sale and the last one we collected money for their dear friend Penny who has recently been diagnosed with ALS and has now lost her ability to speak completely and her ability to swallow. She can no longer eat food and has a feeding tube. Things have progressed since last sale, so this is why she is still the recipient of the fundraiser. She is no longer able to work so they are raising money to help her and her family in this very hard time for them.

They raise money by collecting tips at checkout. Simply leave a tip after you buy your items and 100% of the money will go to Penny and her family. They raised just over $2,000 for her at the last sale!
