Event Description

The Ann Arbor Jaycees Fourth of July Parade & Festival will have an alternate route for 2026 due to construction on Liberty.

The parade will NOT be on Main St this year!!

The parade starts with it’s traditional route, but turns at 5th Avenue instead of proceeding to Main St.

North on State from William to Liberty
West on Liberty from State to 5th Avenue
South on 5th from Liberty to William
East on William from 5th to Thompson

Don’t miss running or watching the Firecracker 5K before the parade.

Do you want to march in the parade? The Jaycees are holding a fundraising raffle to support the parade. Purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to walk with the Grand Marshall (along with an amazing gift basket, parade t-shirt, and vouchers for food & drink from local vendors).

The Ann Arbor Fire Department’s Firefighter’s Spray Park will be held after the parade.

The Ann Arbor 4th of July parade has traditionally been one of the best local parades. It typically lasts 45+ minutes and features many local organizations, businesses, and groups. Between construction causing route changes, the pandemic, more construction, and a temporary, move to Briarwood the parade has shrunk in recent years, and late route approval due to the construction. Hopefully, we see the parade return to its former state soon.

The Ann Arbor 4th of July Parade is back for its 36th anniversary in 2026. As is traditional, the parade is at 10a on July 4th in Downtown Ann Arbor. However, what is not traditional is the route.

The parade will not be on Main St this year!
