Hunt Park Description

The structure at Hunt Park Playground looked new and in great condition. There are a number of slides on the structure. However, none of them are very tall so the playground is best for younger kids.

Hunt Park - Climbers

The playground itself was in great condition, but the park looked like it needed some attention. The mulch was very thin under the structure, the sand box area had almost no sand left, and some of the benches needed a new paint job. The bathrooms were not yet open for the season, so hopefully the playground will receive some attention before the summer playground season picks up steam.

Hunt Park Playground Profile - Sandbox area lacks sand

Hunt Park can be very busy on fall and spring weekends with soccer games through Ann Arbor Rec & Ed. My daughter had games at Hunt a couple of seasons. With it’s location near the soccer field, the playground is great for entertaining siblings or post-game playing.
