My family loves Ann Arbor Restaurant Week! We take the opportunity to try new restaurants and return to some of our favorites. Winter Restaurant Week Ann Arbor returns in 2026 from January 18-23 – Sunday through Friday.
Family Meals To Go
Family Meals to Go were a new option for Restaurant Week in 2022 and a great option for Ann Arbor families.
Restaurants offering Family Meals to Go include:
- Mamma Sato
- Vegano Italiano
The list seems to get shorter each year, so I wonder if this option will go away soon.
Restaurant Week Ann Arbor 2026 Dine-In Options
Since the pandemic, restaurants are able to set their own pricing and packages. I miss the days when they offered 2 courses for lunch and 3 courses for dinner at a set price. Some restaurants continue to offer meals for 2 with shared items. Once my daughter aged out of the kids menu, the meals for 2 got harder for us as a family of 3. Of course now that she’s in college, we can go without her.
In 2023, we dined at Black Pearl as a family in one of their igloos. I have always loved their food but hated the noise and close quarters inside the restaurant. The igloo was perfect – we got the food without the noise or close quarters – and it was toasty warm.
I do suggest checking the menus if you have food allergies. Not all restaurants will be able to accommodate them on the Restaurant Week menu. You will still be able to order from the regular menu, but won’t get the restaurant week pricing.
Restaurant Week for Lunch
Lunch is a great option while the kids are in school if you can’t secure a babysitter. Over the years, I’ve done many lunches with friends, family lunches on MLK day, and date lunches with my husband.

- Seoul Garden
- TAQ – Taqueria Restaurant & Bar
- Venue 4M
- Vinology
- Weber’s
I do suggest verifying each restaurant. Gandy Dancer isn’t on their list of lunch menus, but has one. Other restaurants are open at lunch, but don’t have special lunch deals.

Last year we missed out on Restaurant Week since I was out of town for part of the week and we had commitments on other nights. I’m hoping we can take better advantage of the specials this year.
