Event Description

Ring in the New Year on a Walk with Friends in the crisp winter air.

At 8:30a the group will gather indoors at The Lodge for coffee, tea, and conversation. The walk begins at 9a.

Walk along a level, paved surface at a gradual pace for about 2 miles. During the hike you will learn about how wild winged friends survive the winter, from the bold chickadee to the lovely crimson cardinal.

All ages and ability levels welcome. This hike will be led by Washtenaw Optimal Wellness and County Parks Naturalist Shawn Severance and sponsored by Ypsi Marketing & Print Company and Primerica Lynne Shivers. This is a free event, no registration required. Email severances@washtenaw.org with questions.  

Rolling Hills Vehicle Admission fee is $6/day for county residents, $10/day for non-residents. Annual passes area available.
