In this workshop, you’ll select and decorate a tin to serve as a home for small hobby tools. Class includes a tin, magnets, and all you need to decorate it, and a collection of pins, needles, thread, and other notions.
A Sewing Kit is a place to safely store pins, needles, and other small sewing tools. Explore a variety of stickers, sequins, and fabric scraps to embellish your tin while you’re in the studio. This workshop is both practical and imaginative!
Carol Taite, the volunteer educator teaching this workshop, is a local artist who has been sourcing from SCRAP for many years. Her personal creative projects include garment making and whimsical textile art.
For ages 12+. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $10 per crafter. $2/assistant crafter.
Reserve your seats before this event! Registration is recommended and capacity is limited. Drop-in spots not guaranteed.
