Event Description

Ann Arbor Civic Theatre’s Junior Theatre presents The Thirty-Three Little Pigs, a delightful retelling of the classic children’s fable, written by Brian D.Taylor and directed by Olivia Allen. Performances are Friday, March 6 at 7 pm, Saturday, March 7 at 11 am and 3 pm, and Sunday, March 8 at 3 pm, 2026 at The A2CT Studio Theater, located at 322 West Ann St, Ann Arbor, MI, 48104. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students and children. The Thirty-Three Little Pigs is appropriate for kids ages 4 and up. For tickets, additional information, maps, and directions, visit the A2CT website at a2ct.org or call 734-971-2228.

In this hilarious and fast-paced predator-vs-prey send-up, 33 pigs in the meadow continuously outsmart the hungry wolf. From Straw, Stick, and Brick pigs to Pirate, Chef, and Ninja pigs and many in between, each pig has their chance to misdirect and outsmart the bumbling Big Bad Wolf, who finds himself thwarted at every turn. “Working with passionate young actors is such a privilege,” says director Olivia Allen. “You don’t want to miss their incredible work- every rehearsal makes me laugh and fills me with joy.”

The cast of The Thirty-Three Little Pigs features 19 talented young actors from Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities.
