Hear the fascinating story of “It’s a Wonderful Life” and how it became the ultimate portrayal of holiday goodwill and cheer.
It was originally considered a flop when released in 1946 and was mostly forgotten. It was rediscovered and became a holiday clasic with TV airings beginning in the 1970s.
The program is presented by Brian Rose, professor emeritus at Fordham University in the Departmet of Communication and Media Studies.
