Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Leslie Science & Nature Center surrounded by nature, fresh air, and beautiful spring blooms. Join us for a relaxed, family-friendly morning exploring the wonders of wildflowers together.

• Discover Spring Wildflowers – find blooms popping up through the grasses and sprouting on the forest floor
• Box Turtle Talk – Meet a wildlife ambassador and learn fascinating facts about box turtles and how they live in local habitats
• Learn Plant Secrets – a short, engaging presentation about native wildflowers including using field guides to identify them and the folklore behind plants
• Explore the trails – see what’s blooming & use your plant identification skills
• Sip & Snack – Enjoy teatime with lemonade or iced tea and cookies. Yum!
• Stay & Play – Critter House open noon-3p. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy on site.

There are 2 time slots 10:30a-noon, or 12:30-2p. Registration is required.
