Event Description

Are you a classic board game lover? Join instructor Sarah Ward in learning how to make your own clay game from scratch!

Students will learn the techniques of slab-cutting and sculpting methods to cut out a game board and design unique playing pieces. Game pieces will be glazed in the color of your choice, and each participant will make one game.

Ages 5 and up are welcome, but all children must be accompanied by an adult. Both families and individual participants are welcome!

This class involves handbuilding techniques. Clay can be messy, so come prepared! Aprons are available for use. This class is for ages 5+.

All supplies are included. Please allow 4 weeks or more for work to be processed and fired in the kiln.

*This class involves handbuilding techniques and does not use the pottery wheel.
