Make your plans for the Depot Town’s Christmas extravaganza tree lighting. The big tree across from Sidetracks will be lit at 5:30p. Then follow Santa & Mrs Claus to the Freighthouse for a night of fun.
The Ypsilanti Community High School Choir will lead Christmas Carols. There will be hot chocolate, lots of cookies, candy canes, and cider. There will be everything you need to write your letter to Santa.
One of Santa’s live reindeer will be there as well. And, in new fun, there will be free unicorn rides for the kids.
Why not plan dinner at Maiz Mexican Cantina either before or after the lighting. They offer Kids Eat Free on Sunday nights.
In the case of hard rain, the tree lighting will be delayed until December 4. But a light drizzle won’t stop Santa
