The Apple Store offers free Apple Camps i the summer. These typically range from 1 session to multi-sessions in a week with each session lasting a couple of hours.

In this 1 hour session, kids will draw their own emoji using an Apple Pencil and the Procreate app on an iPad. They’ll take home a copy of their emoji. Devices will be provided for use during the lab.

My daughter did several Apple Camps. We found that the Briarwood store filled up quickly, but that Franklin Park in Toledo didn’t fill up as fast. She did both a movie making and robotics camp. (I only found photos from the robotics camp). Her movie making camp was a 3 day, 2 hour/day event. I will warn that part of the parent session included a “sales pitch” for the educational value of software or devices. We already had Apple devices.

These do fill up quickly, so book your slot now.
