Event Description

Enjoy a storytime and music play with Bichini Bia Congo Dance Theater Company to celebrate Black History Month. Join us as we recognize the contributions and influence that Africans and Black Americans continue to have on music.

This program is a part of YDL-Michigan’s month-long celebration of Black History Month. With a focus on local Black history, Black futures, and Black excellence this programming series is highlighting the theme for Black History Month 2026, “A Century of Black History Commemorations.”
