Event Description

Join YDL for STEM & Stories, a hands-on experiential program for youth in grades K–6. Offered in two age groups: K–2 and 3–6, each session introduces age-appropriate STEM concepts through fun, interactive activities grounded in everyday experiences.

Then, hear a live story from one of Black Men Read’s guests– scientists, readers, innovators, and more! Using hands-on exploration alongside storytime, STEM & Stories helps children build new STEM vocabulary, confidence, and curiosity while seeing themselves reflected as thinkers, builders, and creators. All children and families are welcome.
