Event Description

Celebrate the magic of Studio Ghibli at AADL’s Downtown branch on January 4! Enjoy a day filled with crafts inspired by your favorite films, go on a scavenger hunt to solve a special puzzle, snap a picture at our themed photo ops, and enjoy two enchanting film screenings.

Most event are for all ages preschool-adult.

Activities:

  • 11a-4p – Studio Ghibli Celebration – First Floor Lobby – Stop by the lobby to color, make a button, get a temporary tattoo, and pose for photos in front of some fun Studio Ghibli backdrops. 
  • 11a-4p – Scavenger Hunt – Kids Room -Stop into the kids’ area for a fun scavenger hunt!  Complete the hunt for a special sticker
  • 11a-12:30p – Screening: My Neighbor Totoro – 4th Floor Meeting Room – 86 minutes, English dubbed, rated G
  • noon-3:30p – Studio Ghibli Crafts – Lower Level – Try your hand at fun Studio Ghibli-themed crafts! Stop at the Welcome Table in First Floor Lobby to get your timed entry ticket
  • 2-3:45p – Screening: The Secret World of Arrietty= – 4th Floor Meeting Room 94 mionutes, English Dubbed Film, Rated G
