Gather your little goblins — Zoo Boo, presented by Corewell Health Children’s, returns this October! Bring your reusable bag, enjoy trick-or-treating at the Zoo and get ready for a full lineup of family-friendly entertainment, character meet-and-greets and seasonal fun at every turn.
As the sun sets, watch as the Zoo comes alive with glowing “fun-kins,” elaborate, illuminated décor and displays, costumed performers and nonstop fall festivities — all included with your ticket.
What to expect:
• Treat stations throughout the front half of the Zoo
• Illuminated displays that come alive at night
• Live strolling performers and interactive entertainment
• Hands-on learning opportunities
• Halloween-themed face painting (available for purchase)
• Themed photo stops to capture the moment
• Character meet-and-greets and family-friendly Halloween vibes
• Seasonal market experience by Blake’s with fresh cider and donuts for purchase (20% of proceeds support conservation)
The Zoo Boo pathway is limited to the front half of the Zoo. Animal habitats in the back of the Zoo will not be open. Please note the train will not be running for Zoo Boo
The Detroit Zoo uses flexible pricing based on demand. Prices range from $21-25. On site tickets are $27.
When you purchase your online tickets you can add additional options like a dinner buffet, Cider & Donuts, Attractions, or a ticket for Wild Lights – their holiday light show
