Each night of Top of the Park, a local organization hosts activities in the KidZone Tent.
Join AA2SF for a fun, hands-on experience at the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra’s Instrument Petting Zoo—a unique, interactive event perfect for all ages! Whether you’re a first-timer or revisiting an old passion, this event offers an exciting opportunity to explore a variety of orchestral instruments from the string, woodwind, and brass families.
At this one-of-a-kind event, you’ll get to try out instruments, guided by our expert staff who will demonstrate their functions and teach you some basic playing techniques. It’s a wonderful chance to spark your creativity, discover the joy of music, and perhaps even find an instrument that speaks to you.
Come experience the sounds of the symphony and leave with a newfound appreciation for music. Whether you’re here for fun or to fuel your musical curiosity, you’ll be inspired and ready to explore the world of music in a whole new way!
One of my daughter’s favorite KidZone hosts has been the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra. Whether it was trying out the strings at age 3. or the brass instruments at 12.
