Jam Along at Make Music Day

Make Music Day is a live, free musical celebration that takes place on June 21 every year—the longest day of the year. Cities across the world – including Ann Arbor – celebrate with concerts by professional and amateur musicians. This year allows for more events with June 21 falling on a Saturday

Make Music Ann Arbor Locations

Ann Arbor District Library is one of the main sponsors of Make Music Day in Ann Arbor. with music related events at the Downtown Branch and performances in the courtyard outside the Westgate Branch.

The 2025 Make Music Day Ann Arbor features performers at venues like the Ann Arbor District Library, Michigan Theater, and Neutral Zone plus Top of the Park that evening.

This year, we also noticed a number of performances at private homes. We have chosen not to include these on our website, but you can find them on the Make Music Ann Arbor Website.
