Event Description

Prepare for science tJoin Nutty Scientists of Southeast Michigan for an afternoon of learning, laughter, and science!

The Nutty Scientists will talk about something very spooky, very foggy, and very cold: DRY ICE! You’ll see many of the amazing things dry ice can do, discuss what it’s made of, and how it got its name. We will even find out why it sometimes sounds “haunted.”

After the show, we will have activity tables to safely examine the dry ice (but don’t touch!), “catch” a cold bubble, and even try a bravery challenge.

Nutty Scientists of Southeast Michigan is a local organization committed to spreading the love of science education through interactive, hands-on science lessons.ricks and treats as Mad Science of Detroit presents their most famous elixirs, flashy costumes, potions and more. This show is just fun, not scary.
