Saline’s 45th Annual Christmas Parade – CANCELLED

Spread the love

This event has been canceled due to COVID-19. Events take advance planning and while current guidelines might have allowed the event, it was uncertain at the time a decision was made.

Michigan is easing restrictions especially as many people become vaccinated against COVID. We know families have different comfort levels with various activities. Please use your own judgement on whether the event is right for your family. Check mask guidelines for the event itself. While no longer legally required, masks are still recommended for those not fully vaccinated if you are indoors or outdoors when distancing is not possible. We encourage people to continue wearing masks (and do ourselves even though we are fully vaccinated).

Event Description

Due to the increase in cases and the emergency order limiting outdoor gatherings to 25 people this event has been cancelled.

Saline will be holding their 45th Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 5. Unlike previous years, they have converted it to a drive-through event. Personally, I think this is a great idea and we can be in the warmth of our car instead of freezing on the sidelines.

This year’s parade theme is Home for the Holidays – a very fitting description since most of our people will probably be staying in their own homes – but also missing their home of origin.

The drive-through will be on Thibault Lane just south of Liberty School. Lineup is on Woodland Dr.
