Event Description
Picnic Pops:  Be part of a long tradition!  Come enjoy this city-wide ice cream social featuring music from AAPS bands:
  • Huron, Pioneer, and Skyline High Schools
  • Clague, Forsythe, Scarlett, Slauson, Tappan Middle Schools, A2 STEAM at Northside, and Ann Arbor Open School
Ann Arbor Picnic Pops - Outside
There will be many family-friendly games. Last year’s games included a “Four Legged Friends” themed Cake Decorating contest (cakes decorated by area high school students), the beloved Cake Walk, Ring Toss, and more.  And, no need to leave the concert for lunch! There are plenty of picnic-type foods: grilled hot and veggie dogs, cotton candy, pizza, ice cream, doughnuts, and you can’t have Picnic “Pops” without the soda pop.
Ann Arbor Picnic Pops - Inside Tent
Join us as we welcome warmer days with hot music from cool kids!
In 2018 the forecast was for rain all day, so the event was moved indoors. Hopefully it will be able to be outside this year! I know my daughter is looking forward to playing the concert for the first time this year.
