Join Scrap for a drop-in crafting sessions every Saturday from 2-4 pm. These events are perfect for families and people of all ages who enjoy crafting.
They’ll have lots of ornament making options available. You can hand-sew and embellish an ornament using felt, beads, buttons, and sequins. You can make an ornament by weaving fabric strips under and over a pre-wrapped CD. You can collage an ornament. All materials provided.
They’ll provide all the materials and inspiration needed to create your masterpiece, and will give you instructions whenever necessary.
Crafternoons are not led by instructors; however, SCRAP staff will be available for any questions and studio assistance. For ages 5+ (Youth must be accompanied by an adult)
SCRAP prioritizes access to affordable art materials and expression, so we’re offering tiered ticket options:
- Independent Crafter ($5) – This ticket reflects the “true value” of the event and is geared toward those who will be creating solo or with assistance from an adult.
- Assistant Crafter ($2) – This ticket is geared toward adults accompanying youth who won’t be crafting independently. The cost of this ticket supports our programming, contributes to continued ticket accessibility, and ensures a space in the workshop for chaperones — thank you so much!
