Henry Ford Museum is celebrating Martin Luther King Jr Day with FREE museum admission. Capacity is limited which may result in entry delays or queues, but reservations are not required.
- Dr Martin Luther King Jr Chair on display. The chair is from the Jackson home in Selma which is being added to Greenfield Village.
- Interactive Coloring Wall in the Driving America “Car Court”
- 10a, 11a, 12:15 & 1:45p – Words of Freedom: Excerpts from Dr Martin Luther King Jr & President Lyndon B Johnson – Live performance by actors reciting from Dr King’s most famous speeches and President Johnson’s congressional address urging passage of Voting Rights Act of 1965
- noon & 1:30p – Musical Performance – Brazeal Dennard Chorale
