Hadestown: Teen Edition brings the award-winning Broadway hit to the stage with a bold new voice, performed by the talented teen cast of Professional Youth Theatre of Michigan. This powerful adaptation of Anaïs Mitchell’s acclaimed folk opera reimagines the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone, in a hauntingly beautiful world where love battles fate.

Set to a mesmerizing score of folk, jazz, and blues, Hadestown: Teen Edition invites audiences on a journey to the underworld and back, asking timeless questions about trust, hope, and the power of storytelling. This reimagined version is crafted specifically for young performers while preserving the heart, soul, and unforgettable music of the original.
