Head to Independence Lake for a Lantern Lit Hike

Take a self-guided hike through the lantern lit woods at Independence Lake (trails are 1/2-1mile long). The weather, trail type, and trail conditions will determine which trail is lit. You must check in and start the trail by 7:30p to finish by 8:30p.

Hike ends at the Beach Center pavilion where there will be a campfire with treats. Please monitor the weather and remember to dress for the outdoors.

The event is $15. Traditionally, the entrance fee is per family or household up to 4 members with only one person registering per family of 4. The description no longer says this, but I assume it hasn’t changed. Dogs are welcome

Vehicle entry fee is required ($6/day for county residents, $10/day for non-residents or $30/year for county residents or $45/year for non-residents).
