Enjoy refreshments and join local community organizations Black Men Read and AACHM as we explore what Blackness means to us and our society. Black Men Reads will present a storytime, there will be a sensory tent, a Phase 10 tournament, and a range of other activities that will highlight Black inventions and accomplishments.
This program is a part of YDL-Michigan’s month-long celebration of Black History Month. With a focus on local Black history, Black futures, and Black excellence, this series highlights the theme for Black History Month 2026, “A Century of Black History Commemorations.”
Light refreshments will be provided.
