A Toasty Way to Spend a Cold Day

Today my daughter’s preschool class held a playdate at the University of Michigan Botanical Gardens. It was the first time that I had been there, despite having lived in Ann Arbor for 6 years. Admission to the Conservatory is free on Wednesdays from noon until 8p. We met up with her classmates and their parents at the entrance of the conservatory and explored the conservatory. The conservatory was toasty warm which was nice on a chilly day, although next time I am going to wear a short sleeved shirt instead of the heavy fleece shirt I wore today.

My daughter had a wonderful time exploring with her friends. She loved running around through the plants especially in the cactus area. Sadly, I forgot to bring a camera, so I have no pictures to add to this post.

I look forward to returning again and to visiting in the spring when we can explore the outdoor gardens.
