ypsiGLOW is back for its 7th annual event with a Where the Wild Things Glow theme.
ypsiGLOW is an annual Halloween art and light show in Downtown Ypsilanti produced by WonderFool – the same group that produces Ann Arbor’s FestiFools and FoolMoon each April. The celebration returns to its traditional Washington Street location. The previous two years it had expanded across Ypsilanti and with virtual participation options to allow for at home participation.
2023 Updates
In 2023 Wonderfools adopted the new name Assembli. Then in August 2023, they announced they were closing shop. There will be no more YpsiGlow, FestiFools, or FoolMoon. As of October 4, their website no longer exists.
Where the Wild Things Glow
The 2022 theme is Where the Wild Things Glow. To go along with the theme the Ypsi Library will be constructing a Glow Worm.

YpsiGlow Workshops
Throughout October there are several workshops throughout Ypsilanti to make luminaries and lit costume elements. Many of the workshops are free, but some do require advance signups.
