Dexter Daze is now the Dexter Summer Festival.

The Summer Festival Parade will be on Sunday, August 8 at 10a. Prepare to join the parade on Friday at the Kid Bike Decorating Station. (Kids 7 & under will need a parent to walk with them in the parade.

2025 Saturday’s highlights of interest to kids included:

• 10a-8p – Vendor & Food Trucks Open
• 10a – Parade
• 10a-6p – Action Zone Activities Open
• 10a-3p & 5-8p – Cornhole Open
• 11a – Social Tent Opens
• 11a-2p – Summerfest Car Show at American Legion
• 11a-5p – Bennett’s Balloons – Free Balloon Animals (Action Zone)
• 11a-6p – Turchin Jewelers – Free Friendship bracelet beading.
• 11:15a – Action Zone Performance – Black Belt Academy Karate Demo
• 11:30a – St James Epsicopal Search selling Strawberry Shortcake & Strawberry Pound Cake (while supplies last)
• noon-6p – Chalk Artist (alley by Dexter Bakery)
• 12p – Action Zone Performance – Copper Tom Jump Around Parties
• noon & 12:30p – Free Concerts at St James Episcopal Church
• 1-4p – Dunk Tank Open – Social District
• 2p – Action Zone Performances – Dexter Dreadbot Team
• 3-5p – Corn Hole Tournament
• 4p – Action Zone Performance – Dexter Drama Club
