Event Description

School-aged children in grades K – 4 are invited to reserve a spot at one of the two sessions that are offered (earlier session at 11a) . Learn about the woodpeckers commonly found throughout Michigan using bird calls and mounted specimens. Investigate unique adaptations that woodpeckers rely on to survive in different habitats and create a woodpecker craft.

Space is limited! Registration is required. Call the library at 734-426-4477 to be added to a waitlist if it is full.
