343 South Fifth Avenue, Ann Arbor
Region: Downtown
Each year, more than 25,000 kids experience the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra in their schools, libraries and communities. Through these interactions they grow their musical curiosity, they grow their listening skills, and they grow their love of music.

So far for 2023-2024, only September Kinderconcerts have been announced. There are typically also sessions in January and May. Kinderconcerts are held at Ann Arbor, Chelsea, Dexter, Saline, and Ypsilanti libraries. Note that this year the Ypsilanti concerts move from the traditional Whittaker location to the new Superior Branch.
Kinderconcerts introduce kids age 0-5 to the different instruments in the symphony with a combination of music and motion. Each session has traditionally featured pianist Kathryn Goodson, a featured musician from the orchestra, and Gari Stein who has led movement and motion at each event. This year’s event does not list the participants.

This AADL session will be held in the first floor lobby.
