Family Nature Adventure Programs are FREE play-based outdoor experiences for the whole family. Each program is about 90 minutes. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required for anyone over the age of 2.
A Valentine for Squirrel
The mother squirrels are in their nests and skunks are in their dens, waiting for spring so their babies can roam the fresh green forest. Go on a hike to look for animal signs and learn about winter survival for four-legged families. We will leave behind a small Valentines Day gift for the animals, and also have a small treat for ourselves. This hike led by Parks Naturalist Shawn Severance.
