Create memorable experiences that encourage a lifelong love of reading and storytelling! Presented on five Saturdays in August, the new Storytelling Series invites children and families to gather for engaging tales filled with imagination, laughter, and adventure, all set against the natural beauty of the Huron River.
Appropriate for all ages and stages, Ann Arbor’s favorite storyteller Steve Daut tailors each performance to his audience, drawing from folk tales, whimsical adaptations, and original stories while inviting audience participation that delights children and adults alike.
About the Host…
Steve Daut has been performing for over 35 years, with onstage experience in magic, sketch and stand-up comedy, storytelling, improvisation, and emceeing. In storytelling, Steve has found a true home, blending his diverse performance background into engaging programs filled with humor, heart, and a touch of magic.
A graduate of the Second City and the Purple Rose Theatre Actor-Director Lab, Steve is the author of Telling Twain, which received Honors from the 2020 Storytelling World Awards. His engaging performances spark imagination, laughter, and a lasting appreciation for the art of storytelling.
