We are losing our elders every day—and with them, priceless wisdom, stories, and lived experiences that often never get passed on. This workshop is our way of saying: No more. Not on our watch.
Whether you’re an elder reflecting on your life, an adult hoping to capture a loved one’s journey, or someone who simply wants to pause and document their own path—you’ll leave this session with a meaningful, written legacy.
In just one guided session, they will walk participants through powerful prompts and reflection exercises that lead to a 1–2 page personal story they can share with family, friends, or future generations. It’s emotional. It’s connective. And it’s often the first time someone sees the value in their own story.
This is part of the Legacy Keepers Library Tour presented by founder Zarinah El-Amin. Zarinah is a cultural anthropologist, award-winning publisher, and founder of The Legacy Keepers Life Story Academy. She helps families preserve the life stories of their elders before it’s too late—turning memories into powerful legacy books. Zarinah also leads transformative travel experiences through her company Enliven Your Soul, blending cultural immersion with soul work. Her mission is to honor heritage, spark healing, and ensure our elders’ wisdom lives on.
