Family Friday: Clay Mugs

Come downtown to the A2AC for a fun Friday night spent making your own clay cups. Your instructor will take participants step-by-step through the design and implementation process, demonstrating handbuilding skills in the process. Once your mug is crafted, you will use colorful slip to paint bold and bright designs of your choice. Each participant will create one or two cups depending on design.

The workshop is for kids ages 5+. Children must be accompanied by an adult. An adult who is just helping their child does not need to register.

After the event, mugs will be processed and fired in the kiln. They will be ready 4 or more weeks after the event
