Downtown Branch of AADL
343 South Fifth Avenue, Ann Arbor
Sewing instructor Rae Hoekstra of Made by Rae will do a demo on how to hem something and will offer pointers on how to do this successfully in your own projects. If you have something that needs hemmed, feel free to bring it along.
Join AADL for an evening of sewing. Local sewing instructor Rae Hoekstra will demonstrate hemming. We will have our lab’s machines set up and staff will be on hand to show you the basics. You can bring a project you’ve been working on, or just stop by to practice your stitches. We welcome all skill levels. No prior knowledge is necessary.
For grades 6-adult. In the Secret Lab
