Junior Naturalist is a free* nature learning series for youth ages 7- 11. Parks Naturalists Kelsey, Shawn, and Elle lead hikes and teach nature skills. Space is limited to 6 children per naturalist, so pre-registration is required.

Fits the Bill

Bird bills come in so many different shapes and sizes, but do you know why? Explore the various types of beaks to determine how they are used and what foods they consume, then hike with binoculars to look for birds and nests and listen for calls and songs. We will meet at Medford Pavilion for the beak activity then hike through the park.

*Some locations charge a vehicle entry fee. Pre-Registration is required
