Protagonists always want something, and the struggle to achieve their goal gives the story stakes. But is there enough at stake in your story, and are your characters cooperating with the great plot you’ve laid out for them? In this workshop, Alex Kourvo and Bethany Neal will teach you how to raise the stakes and keep your readers riveted until the very last page.
This event is part of the monthly Emerging Writers Workshops, which offer support, learning, and advice for local authors. Each month, two weeks after the workshop, there is a meet-up where the instructors are available to review samples of your work and offer advice and assistance in a casual, supportive atmosphere.
