Have you been to Briarwood Mall to check out the construction of the new play area yet? I have to admit that I am not a frequent mall goer so I have not seen the construction.
However, I have found out that the Grand Opening Celebration for the new play area will be on Saturday, June 29 from 11:30a-1p.

Radio Disney Junior will be on hand for the celebration with special giveaways every 15 minutes, a Disney Jr themed temporary tattoo station, a Disney Jr coloring station, and a gaming station with a new Disney Jr app. There will also be a Diaper Derby for children 0-6 mos and 6-12 mos.
My daughter has outgrown the play area, so I doubt we will be at the celebration. However, I am glad that they have a new play area as there were frequent problems in the old area especially with seating and climbers that disappeared over time and were never replaced.
