I love having decorated pumpkins, but we always seem to run out of time. Plus, pumpkin carving creates a huge mess.

There have been years that we have carved our pumpkins right before trick or treat. Other years, we haven’t carved pumpkins.

Saline Rec Center – 1866 Woodland Dr Saline
Time:Β 6:45pm-8:15pm
Cost: $8-12 depending on date of registration
Saline Parks & Rec is holding a Floating Pumpkin Patch. Search the pool for the pumpkin that matches your wristband. Then head to a decorating station to create your masterpiece and enjoy cider and donuts. For ages 3-13. Pumpkins will be throughout the pool including the deep end. Children under a level 4 swimming ability will need to wear a lifejacket and have a parent in the water. Admission is $8 by 9/22, $10 from 9/23-10/2, $12 Day of Event (no walk-ins)

Pumpkin Fest at Sweetwaters is here! Stop into Sweetwaters Washington St. on Sunday, Oct. 6th between Noon and 3pm to paint a pumpkin for charity & sample our fall drinks (including the brand new Jack O'Dragon)! Preschool Pumpkin Hunt Preschoolers can join Saline Rec Center for a mini Pumpkin Hunt on Miller Field behind the Rec Center. Then, they can decorate it to take home. There will also be a story and refreshments. The event is for kids ages 2-5. Registration Fee: $8 through 10/1 $10 starting 10/2 $12 day of event (if not sold out)
