Have you ever wanted to record music at home or start your own podcast, but don’t know where to begin? Recording engineer David Fienup introduces beginners to basic recording equipment: USB and XLR microphones, Garage Band, MIDI keyboards, and audio interfaces. He will explain how to hook it all up and start recording, editing and mixing. Basic effects, such as reverb and EQ, will also be discussed. Tips will be shared on how to get the most out of your home recordings without breaking the bank on acoustic treatment.
