What’s Reopening This Week At Veterans Memorial Park

As of Monday, May 11, Veterans Memorial Park remains closed as storm recovery efforts continue. However, there is some good news. Parts of the park are scheduled for reopening on Friday, May 15!

The playground, pop-up dog park (on ball field 4), skatepark, and ballfields #3 and #5 are all on the list to reopen by the end of this week.

While these parts of the park are scheduled to reopen, there may be the need for temporary closures as work progresses on other areas of the park..

Veterans Memorial Park Pool Updates

While Vets Pool has sustained some damage, they anticipate they will be able to make the repairs and open the pool this summer – although later than the traditional Memorial Day opening. Due to the unceratin date of opening the pool, they are not booking swim lessons at this time. You can sign up for swim lessons at Buhr or Fuller Pool.
